A handy dehumidifier with dessicant technology (adsorption). Adsorption is useful where the room air is cold or where very low humidity levels are required. The "DS3" is also ideal for quickly drying laundry in cool basements.
Unlike condensation dehumidifiers, this unit maintains constant performance even at cold temperatures. It requires virtually no warm-up time and is lightweight at only 7.5 kg due to its compressor-free design. Below 8-10°C, adsorption dryers are more efficient than standard compressor models.
Once the target humidity is reached, the process stops. The fan continues for a few minutes to cool the unit before pausing. The powerful fan features three speeds, making it perfect for drying laundry. Note: The fan is audible even at the lowest setting, so it is less suitable for quiet bedrooms.
Special air purification function with HEPA filter
The DS3 can also be used as an air purifier. A compatible HEPA filter (sold separately) removes over 99.9% of airborne particles like pollen, fine dust, viruses, and germs. This mode can run alongside dehumidification or independently.
